What is the rental procedure?
You could stop by our Rental Center in Condado or to reserve visit ebikessanjuan.com and follow the instructions in our rental section and make sure you get a confirmation before you arrive. You will sign a digital waiver upon booking your reservation and upon arrival, you will need to present a GOV ID (driver's license or passport) and the credit card that was used to reserve, NO EXCEPTIONS.
If you do NOT have the credit card used to book the reservation in hand your reservation will be canceled. All reservations must be made with the same credit card and ID that you present upon arrival.

Should I rent my bike in advance?
The answer is YES! All of our products are top of the line and are in high demand, we recommend booking ahead of time through our website and read carefully and see which bicycle is adequate for the experience you desire. We also accept walk-ins during our regular operating hours.
What kind of bikes are available for rental?
We offer a wide variety of bikes from beach cruisers to pedal-assisted mountain bikes and motorcycle-style fat tire ebikes.
What happens if I have an accident during the rental period?
Do not continue riding your rental if you have an accident. Contact us and await instructions regarding your event at 787-366-0886. If it's an emergency dial 911.
Are these rental ebikes available for sale?
YES! If you absolutely love the experience of riding a rented ebike you can purchase one. Just let us know! The pricing and availability will be determined by the evaluation of our staff. What is the top speed I can reach with your Ebikes?
Top Speed for RENTALS is regulated to a maximum of 18 mph. Use of ebike throttle is not permitted due to San Juan traffic regulations. However if you decide to purchase any ebikes from our inventory, we'll set up all factory settings and features including the throttle function for some models and a top speed of 20-25 mph (top speed varies by model).
What if I damage my rental?
The renter will absorb the cost of repairs caused by operator errors. Renters will be charged for the reasonable cost of making repairs caused by the operator of the rental.
What if the E-bike breaks down?
All of our available ebikes are regular bicycles with pedal-assisted features. If the electrical portion of the bike quits working, you may contact us so we can fix the issue.
*What is your cancelation policy?
Now for the not so fun part – unfortunately, adventure companies need cancellation policies since they are reserving time slots and equipment for you.
Please call at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule your reservation.
You would be able to reschedule your reservation within 24 hours of your appointment based upon availability, at no additional charge.
If you do not cancel or reschedule your reservation, and your rental time begins, your reservation will be considered a NO SHOW, and you will be charged for the full amount of the reservation.
